Dr. Ulaunda Ballard started the Ballard Health Foundation to provide disenfranchised families, with school-aged children, resources, programs, community service opportunities, mentorship, unique experiences, and educational opportunities. Ballard Health celebrates the uniqueness of marginalized, underrepresented, and disenfranchised families & children. They aim to provide children with a safe space to explore their inner talents and understand their full potential and legacies regardless of their social economic statues, where community they come from, what ethnic group they belong to or whether they have families who are able to support them.
There is valuable information about self-empowerment, self-love, and self-care that is often excluded from the population Ballard Health Foundation serve. So they hope to play a part in restoring some of this knowledge so that our children become psychologically wiser, mentally sound, and more informed citizens of our country and of the world.
