Ballard Health Foundation

Our Mission

Ballard Health Foundation started as just a desire to advocate for my children and other underrepresented & disenfranchised children within my community. I started the Ballard Health Foundation to provide school-aged children and their families with programs, community service opportunities, mentorship, unique experiences, and educational opportunities. Ballard Health celebrates the uniqueness of marginalized, underrepresented, and disenfranchised children. We aim to provide children with a safe space to explore their inner talents and understand their full potential and legacies.

There is valuable information about self-empowerment, self-love, and self-care that is often excluded from the population we serve. So I hope to play a part in restoring some of this knowledge so that our children become psychologically wiser, mentally sound, and more informed citizens of our country and the world.

Organization & Business Affiliations

I have partnered with many businesses and volunteered my time with organizations such as; Emerging Beauty Inc., Black Women for Wellness, Black Parent Alliance, Institute for Education Research and Scholarships, Black Chamber of Commerce Inland Empire, and the Manisha Lusha Foundation, Msingi.
